“Al-Rahma International” and “Human Building Association” Sign Cooperation Agreement to Empower and Qualify Youth and Support Beneficiary Groups in Kuwait Al-Rahma International and the Human Building Association for Social Development signed a cooperation agreement to support the “Hope Initiative,” which aims to empower and qualify young people from low-income families and support eligible groups for social care in Kuwait, enhancing quality of life, economic independence, and social integration. Under the agreement, Al-Rahma International will provide KWD 30,000 in support for the initiative, contributing to the implementation of social care, rehabilitation, and educational and vocational support programs, while developing beneficiaries’ skills and enhancing their access to education, training, and employment opportunities. Dr. Issa Al-Dhafiri, Director General of Al-Rahma International, emphasized that the agreement reflects the importance of collaboration among civil society organizations in serving the groups most in need. He noted that the “Hope Initiative” represents a shift from direct assistance toward empowerment and creating opportunities, particularly for youth who are outside the education, training, and employment systems. Eng. Khalifa Fahad Al-Ghanem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Human Building Association for Social Development, affirmed that the partnership reflects Kuwait’s longstanding humanitarian tradition and highlights the importance of cooperation among government, private, and civil society organizations to develop impactful initiatives that respond to community needs and support the most vulnerable groups.
